On the morning of Tuesday 4th June 2024 heaven gained another angel, Dave. He was taken so suddenly and way too soon. 

Whilst it is so easy to cry and regret unfinished business, words not spoken and dreams not realised I do not want people to dwell on these things. Dave did live the life he had to the full and loved every moment.....well almost every moment depending on the football results!

He spent his life surrounded by the family he loved and some truly amazing friends. Dave was always at his best when in the midst of things socialising with a beer, or more recently with a shared bottle of wine! We made so many wonderful, treasured memories together as we travelled the world and, Dave being Dave, making friends everywhere he went.

So as we prepare to say our last goodbyes I want people to smile and remember all of the good times they shared with him. We are celebrating his life and loves in true style with all things red, white and black the colours of his beloved team Manchester United, I don't think anything less would do.

You could take the man out of Manchester but you could never take Manchester out of the man, that was Dave. May he always be remembered with a raised glass and a smile. Loved Forever and Always xxx
